Special fields Fields representing “on/off” attributes, like e.g., “Sim.”, “Crit.” and “Sens.” appear in the table as ‘√’ or ‘-’ characters. The ‘√’ character indicates that the corresponding attribute is turned “on”, while the ‘-’ character indicates that the attribute is turned “off”. You can toggle the attribute on and off just by clicking the field. A consequence of this is that such fields cannot be activated the usual way. You can, however, bypass the toggle behavior, and activate such fields by pressing the “Option” key while clicking the field. When the field is activated, you may edit it by typing characters on the keyboard or use the “Fill down” or “Fill up” commands. However, only the ‘√’ character is accepted as equivalent to the “toggle on” command. Entering any other character is interpreted as a “toggle off” command, and such a character will be replaced by the “toggle off” character ‘-’, when you deactivate the field. You type the‘√’ character by pressing the “Option” key while you type ‘j’. Fields representing categorical attributes, like e.g., “Distrib.”, “Algortm.”, “Oper. 1” and ”Oper 2.” can be edited the usual way. Note however, that DynRisk checks the input as soon as it is entered into the model. If the text you entered is not a valid category name, the input is rejected, and the attribute remains unchanged. To be accepted, a category name must be spelt exactly as in the corresponding popup menu in the “Edit node” dialog box.
